Nyodema, a Mandinka word meaning “Help Each Other,” reflects our core belief in community solidarity and mutual support. The organisation was established as a result of a strong commitment to assisting and uplifting those who are less privileged, inspired largely by the lived experiences of our trustees. We are guided by the principle that fundamental human right is divine and universal.
As a SCIO-registered humanitarian charity based in and operating across Greater Glasgow, we work primarily with disadvantaged and vulnerable communities, including ethnic minorities, refugees and asylum seekers, and LGBTQI+ individuals. In addition to supporting access to essential subsistence needs, we provide moral, empowerment, and psychosocial support aimed at fostering long-term, sustainable socio-economic integration within Scottish society.
